Kamen Rider Faiz The movie: Paradise Lost Review

Yup I'm back people talking about Faiz again, and I'm not happy about it either people because on top of not liking the show I also do not like talking about it in general because just in general Faiz always put me in a bad mood but I digress. So were talking about the Faiz Paradise lost and Parades Lost refers to a 10 book poem about (getting the info on Dictonary.com here) “Its subject is the Fall of Man; it also tells the stories of the rebellion and punishment of Satan and the creation of Adam and Eve. Milton declares that his aim in the poem is “to justify the ways of God to men.” I have not read the poem so if I’m missing some religious meaning or something like that in this film please let me know for I'm not that much of a religious guy in the first place. And also on the top of things since this is a The Toshiki Drinking game here are your rules, get your shot glass and get ready to feel sick in the morning.

The movie begins with Smart Brain members delivering stuff but they are really a resistance movement against Smart Brain led by a guy names Mizuhara and Take a Shot he’s an asshole but I'll explain that latter. The reason why they are attacking Smart Brain is because they have had created 2 new drivers and these 2 new belts will granite Smart Brain a win which is why the resistance is attacking Smart Brain. But it does not go well with Smart Brain prepare themselves and have Orphnoch's on stand by and they kill the intruders, that is until Kusaka comes in and saves one him and yes Kusaka is our "hero" because this movie is a what if movie. And this is a “What if the Orphnoch's were in control of the world instead of the humans” which I admit I'm a sucker for what if stories, in fact I even own the “What If the Alien Costume Had Possessed Spider-Man?”

Back at the resistance base (with Mari as the lead of the resistance) with them being bummed out that their attack was a failure and what’s worst is that they do not have Takumi anymore because in a flash back he was taken by the Rio Troopers (now The Rio troopers were the first time we would ever have mas produce army riders). Kusaka comes back and support Mari with him going as so far as to say he is her Savior, but she has none of it and just push him aside, and you would not believe how much I laugh when I Saw that scene . then after that really not a lot happen, well I can sum up things like Takumi is with the resistance and also has amnesia Take a Shot and also the smart brain leader (who head is now in a jar for some reason) ask them to come back which is to just introduce a new movie exclusive rider.

Sometime in the morning the resistance base is attacked by Rio Troopers and the fight feels like it drags on for a while even though it's only 6 minutes long and is only saved with the appearance of 1 of our movie exclusive Rider Kamen Rider Psyga. Psyga is a unique rider for starters his suit is the only suite with white material instead of the others with black and also on his coloring, I love his color scheme, something about white, pink, and purple just looks so cool. The big thing about this guy is that he’s not played by a Japanese actor but played by a Taiwanese actor that speaks English and there’s even an inside joke when he says Henshin just like how an American would say it (that is a joke since we say Henshin differently then how Japanese would say it so that is why that is funny). But by far the best part about this guy is that he kills Kusaka, and we are only in the begging of the movie, already I like this guy (I hope you enjoy hell you bastard Kusaka, say hi to Captain Ryuya and Banno when you see them because I’m sure you all have 1 thing in common).

Later that night Mari organize a dance so every could come and cheer everyone up but no one has come because of the attack earlier today and only the amnesia Takumi comes to dance with Mari thinking that she is this other girl named Mina who has become Takumi "friend" and get into more that latter. Then they both start dancing to the music gazing into each other eyes deeply and emotionally at one another eyes and or at least that is what should have had happen since in the show that is how they acted to each other. The Rio troopers comes back in and the Takumi suddenly remembers who he is from bullshit writing and everyone savior has arrive which is what the resistance and Mari call him which everyone is happy about except for Mizuhara does not like this cauz he's an ass hole.

Mina sees this and is well heart broken when she saw him dancing with Marri Take a Shot and says that. We then learn that Mina explains that her father put the memories of her dyeing friend in to Takumi’s body so he can live again (boy who knew that this is where the Superior Spider Man originated from). Then Mizuhara comes in and thinking Takumi is not worthy of being Faiz and then steels the Faiz Driver and kills Mina Take a Shot and that is all Mina was in the movie motivation for Takumi to fight more so what was originally what was going to be sad is just a digesting taste in your mouth and just makes you full of anger and rage. But hey at lease Mizuhara get his comeuppance when he gets the belt try it on and false (Take a Shot) and then dies when Kiba helps get the belt back but then resistance members see that it looked like Kiba killed Mizuhara which then get them kicked out of the resistance base in the morning Take a shot.

Kiba with his super hearing miss understood Mari and he heared that she did wanted him kicked out Take a shot which gave Kiba a good idea to go ahead and steal the emperor bet to prove he is good. But the head of Smart Brain was (no pun intend) was 1 step ahead of them and unleash this giant Orphinoc which well if I'm being hones here CGI really does not look all that bad to be honest, and would go ever far as to say this is slightly better than most stuff done today.

And now we get to the scene that just REALLY GRINDS MY GEARS, when Yuka dies she does not die a normal death she is impaled by a bunch of spikes and then utterly crouched by the giant Orphnoic and then just show her like a helpless little girl Take a shot and then spit it out in disgust. . But hey Kaido dies (and that scene of him trying to get Yuka’s dead body is good I admit that) sill not all that better since he is one of the more likeable cast members is no dead, then Mari is reviled to have had done this all along except it was not just smart lady pretending to be her and so now Kiba hate all of humanity now again all because of a misunderstanding Take a shot.

Back at the resistance base Pysa take Mari and also I’ll cover this now Ketro becomes Kaixa Take a shot and well that has been like a C plot in this movie this entire time and un well it was well just use for subpar comedy at best, even more so when the Kaixa belt just is destroyed for no good reason at all just for a joke, BUT at least I get to finally root for someone wearing he Kaixa suit. Takumi goes to get Mari but is then stopped by Pysga but Takumi makes quick work him and his death is very anti climatic may I say, but then the crowd starts shouting Orga and Kiba coming in with now his new hatred for humanity and then Henshin into Kamen Rider Orga. 

Orga would have to be my favorite Rider design from Faiz I mean the look of it just shouts emperor, and now a fun fact about his head if you look at Kamen Rider Orga head it looks just like the crescent from the Dino Thruster from Abaranger, which ran the same year (I really which I was reviewing Abaranger again I like that show compare to Faiz, I like Abaranger).

Orga fight Faiz and while it looks like Orga is winning Takumi turns into his Orphnoic form and the same goes for Kiba as well and we get a pretty cool scene of them turning into their Orphnoic from then Human then finally Rider form and it is very cool I’m not gonna lie. Takumi then remembers that "OH SHIT I HAVE A FINAL FORM" which he then activates and turns into Faiz Blaster mode which again is sadly not my favorite modes I still don’t know why but I just do not like the mode. Faiz blaster defeats Orga and then goes after the giant Orphnoic and only really success in when Kiba helps out and then well...

Ok I have not touched this Elephant Zord in the room but I guess I shale touch I now. This year Kiba actor Masayuki Izumi sadly passed away this year at age 35, so yah it is really sad to see this scene and not about his death, the show treated him poorly and the same can even be said for him in real life as well, rest in peace Mr. Masayuki Izumi may happiness awaits you in the afterlife.

Anyways the movie ends with the head of Smart brain dyeing because he has failed and all the Orphnoics just letting Takumi and Mari leave even though they could all gang up on them and defeat them I mean or GOD sake Takumi is not even in Faiz suite and it just ends like just ends not on a high or low note it just ends Take a shot.

Overall I give Kamen Rider Faiz Paradise Lost a 2/5

If you’re a Faiz fan you will like this movie but if you’re not a Faiz and then you will not like this which is why I think I do not like this movie.

When you get down to it this movie is basically just like the show which has everything just like like the show with the double crossing, the douche bag charterers and, of course the bad writing. This it like having the best parts of the show in a movie and if you do like the movie then you surly like this but if you don’t like the show then you will not like this movie just like me. I do not completely hate it since Kusaka early on and Pysga is cool even though he hardly do that much.  Next week come back and I review Kamen Rider Taisen GP the lattest Taisenmovie there is

Kamen Rider Ghost DX Eyecon Driver G and Kamen Rider Necrom Suit reviled

This is something inserting and a first might I add a Kamen Rider get a new belt when in final form. Kamen Rider Ghost get's a new belt when he goes his final form Graceful Damashii which is a giant Ghost Eyecon and will use all the powers of the other 15 Damashii's which is nothing new with other series like Kamen Rider Drive and all the Shift cars for Type Tridron, or Gaim Kiwami arms with the other arms,or Kamen Rider (point is this is done before and now a continuing trope to Kamen Rider now). Ghost is moving very fast with it's toys and Gimmicks and we have Yet to see Specter with his 

super form the Houdini Damashii and I really want to know how this will all play out next year since Ghost is doing something different with just shoving all the toys out of the way first and then plot for the rest of the show which is cool.

We finally have a Image of Kamen Rider Necrom, Necrom Design looks happy, that smile to me just shouts happy with the mouth piece and the way the eyes are posed it shouts happy. Healso looks a bit like Ghost with the 1 horn (would have had made more seance with 3 horns) and a bit more mechanic and also looks a bit more like Ghost Logo. Necrom looks like Ghost and Specter and still have a bit of uniqueness to him, excited next year to see him in Ghost.

OH MY GOD, like OH MY GOD THIS thing is so scary like if the boggy man became a Kaiju, the teeth and eyes just look like a killer monster just waiting and stocking and will strik you and jump up at you like a animatronic form FNTF (or would have if they stilled scared people now completely not effected of being scared of FNAF jump scared).

Digital-Ranger Frish thoughts on: Digimon Tri Movie 1

I think I’m stating the obvious here when I say that I’m a huge fan of Digimon, Digimon has always been such a very nostalgic thing in my life with me rewatching the first 3 episodes on VHS. Now let me get this out of the way first, yes we had to wait for like almost 1 year and a half for this movie to come out because of some delays and then there was the news it would only be 6 movies long instead of a new series, and then there was more news that some of the original voice actors would not come back and reprise their roles and we also had them be replace by Goki Yellow and Goki Silver. But with all that said let’s see if the delay was worth it now shale we?

The movie begins with a Digi Egg getting corrupted, we then cut to Tai waking up with a small reference to Digimon Tamers with this paper saying “1 version” which was a name of a song in Digimon Tamers. During this we also see the zero 2 cast (with no TK and Kari with them) getting defeated and well that is all we really know about them, are they K.O. or dead (but given that the next movie have Imperialdramon on the cover I think it is a safe bet that they are alive at the very lease) and then a shadow figure appears (more on him later). Then after that we then greeted with Tri’s Ver. of Butterfly and wow just... WOW... My GOD... honestly just MY GOD... I just absolutely love this remix of Butterfly and I just love this Ver. of Butterfly so much that I really think about making this my favorite Anime opening of all time just because I love this song so much, really this song is just so beautiful and just love it so much.

Now for the rest of this first part there is really nothing much to talk about since not a lot happens, I mean sure we get some things about the characters like Tai thinking about his life and what he needs to do, Matt has a new Band called the Knife of day (OUCH SO EDGY), Sora acts more like having feelings for both Matt and Tai make things like a love triangle (HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE). Mimi is well a tease I mean she’s just a tease when latter Matt and Tai arguing she is just laughing and taking pictures, Joe is still Joe being older and doing nothing but his school work but he’s failing so I guess that is something different then the norm so in that regard I’m glad to see that as a different thing (and he has a girlfriend now, I know even I was like what). Izzy, T.K. and Kari are still mostly the same and not to different, Izzy is still Tai’s friend and both T.K. and Sora are more there for their brothers. We also introduce to a few new charters like Tai's teacher Daigo Nishijima who we will get into in just a few and this girl named Meiko Mochidzuki well get to them soon enough. and how this first episode ends with the re appearance of Kuwagamon, yes I said episode, you see how this is all set up is that while they are movies they are structured are like episodes, so 6 movies constructed into 4 episodes do the math and Digimon Tri is basically like a brand new Digimon season.

Episodes 2 begins with Kuwagamon attacking Tai before being saved by DEUSEXMACHINA I mean Agumon, yes we have Agumon with Tai at his side again and this is very pleasant to see this even more so that their first battle is with Kuwagamon which was their first Digimon they fought in the series. Agumon tells Tai that this is a corrupted Digimon which make him more powerful, which brings us to the first battle of Tri and also an updated Digivloution sequence and it is amazing I mean it is still oblivious CGI but for the animation style this CGI just fits so well with what they were going for and looking at the new Digivloution sequence it a bit like tames as well, my only complaint I have is that none of these Digivloution sequences are color coded and all the same color for all of them (but that is more of a nitpick then anything). The others come too help (except for Mimi and Joe because Joe s still working hard as ever to work on his exams and Mimi still in America) and the rest of this episode is just a fight between the Digimon and the Kuwagamons (Kinda of funny seeing both Kabutarmon and Kuwagamon fighting each other because both are beetles and in Japanese culture there is a thing about the Rhino Beetle and the Stag Beetle being rivals or allies). The fight ends with a big hand coming through and taking the Kuwagamon back and episode 2 ends with complete destruction at this airport where the battle they had.

Episode 3 is again more like episode 1 with more dialog heavy in the story but here we learn that Tai's teacher is actually not a teacher but a part of this origination that are basically like this world's ver. of Hypnos from Digimon Tamers and also we see on a screen that the zero 2 kids are MIA. Tai after seeing all of the destruction he now starting to question what to do no in chase any more corrupted Digimon come through. In the morning everyone is there and guess what Tai and Matt start arguing with each other (WHOPTY FREAKIN DO), but to be frank there is a good explanation for why. On Tai’s said they should stop with fighting in the first place so no one can get hurt, and on Matt’s said they should fight so to prevent anyone from getting hurt (which is more of a role reversal to their charters to think about it since Tai was always more the head strong person while mat was more laying it safe, but it feels like the charters have grown). Episode 3 ends with Izzy now creating a his thing so Digimon can now come through in and out of the internet at will (now if you look at Agumon cloths he is wearing it looks a lot like his disguise he wore in the Myotismon arc).

In episode 4 Izzy has made Tai a new pair of goggles and these goggles are special because allow Tai to see any digital active disturbances (so he has the digital glasses from Mega Man Star Force I swear if NetNavi’s began out as Digimon I will fucking flip a table). While the Digidestined’s are trying out Tai’s new Goggles they meet up with a new girl from their school Miho Arakawa a new character introduce earlier way back in episode 1 but has been nothing of relent till now and I’ll explain in a few why. She need their help looking for a “CAT” and on that cat hunt they meet up with Matt so then both him and Tai make up and kiss and then suddenly something appears. 

That thing that appears is Alphamon, yes we have Alphamon finally in a cannon Digimon series which is just a very awesome thing with Alphamon being a fan favorite since his movie “Digimon X-Evolution” (which I should review, and the other Digimon movies, and Savers). Alphamon is chasseing this Digimon named called Meicoomon (a very brand new Digimon that was created for this movie and at the time no Evolution chart) and also on his tail is Huckmon (a Digimon what was helped promoted with the anniversary Digivice, so shameless self-promotion, and he does like nothing but hay he will probably be impotent in the other movies). The Digidestind’s go to try and fight Alphamon but they all get Wrecked which also made a bunch of funny Gif’s and Memes. Matt keep telling Tai to go ahead and try to fight and Tai sees more destruction around him which then motivates Tai to fight again and then both Augmon and Gabumon Digivolve from there champion’s, mega’s, and Ultimate’s and then finally DNA Digivolve into.

OMNIMON! Yes this battle just got so real with a battle of the ages a fight between Alphamon and Omnimon, the Alpha V. the Omega, the original OG Royal Knight V. the leader of the Royal Knight’s, and the battle itself glorious and speechless just from the epic and splendid animation that this battle was quite possibly the highlight of the entire movie. The fight with Alphamon and Omnimon is comes to an end with Alphamon retreating with Omnimon just shooting a leaving a giant mark in the ground and dedigivlovs back into Koromon and Tsumon. 

Then the movie ends with Mako happy to see Meicoomon is alive and say’s she and Meicoomon are partners and yes she is the 9th Digidestend.

Overall this was just really, really great and well that is all I have to say.

I admit I don't let nostalgia judge my thoughts in reviewing (because if that did happen Gundam wing would get the Prodigus award) but this did feel nostalgic and did Nostalgia right without doing nostalgic overboard like so many other shows/ movies do. I love how the characters were development feel natural growth to them, which I think is a super critical thing for me since the characters are like my favorite characters in all of fiction. The music is just excited so excellent, sure it is the same music but I still love and it’s amazing to hear the remix of Butterfly Brave Heart, and also I wish. And finally the icing on the cake, the animation, I mean the animation looks just so amazing and shows that there so much time and effort put into this animation and only a few times did the animation dropped, but compare this to Toei’s other animation's like Sailor Moon Crystal or Dragon Ball Super which is a big surprise and great because usually with Toei and banking on nostalgia you usually say “That's Toei, what do you expect?”. I’m excited for when the next movie is out which shale be in March and that is great to hear that’s its getting release so soon and said the next movie will get release in the Anime season like spring summer fall and winter, and so glad that is happening unlike the Eva movies. I would loved to see this get a dub in the U.S. but now we can't from he evil that is modern Nickelodeon and the cheep ness of modern Saban productions we can now but maybe that is a good thing in the end (and well I could tell a lot of the original voices would not come back).

first look at Jyuuoger suis and mecha

That was my first impressions when I woke up this morning (when a friend of mine tagged me and showed me the new scans for Jyuuoger) and I DO NOT LIKE THESE SUITS, LIKE AT ALL. My first thoughts were "hay a cool looking parody" but I was wrong this is not a parody this is real, this is VERY REAL. I mean the animals on their chest just look so realistic and detail it takes you out of the mind of Sentai and this is some parody done by someone then actual production like Toei. I mean That is my only nit pick about the suits because that is the only thing of note because the rest of the suits are horribly lazy in design, I mean sure the helmets are fine I like red but probably just for that orange for his visor, blue looks good with the added white for the helmet, yellow and white just blend into each other and hard to see the difference (also with these resolution it is hard to make out yellow and white) but Green is the worst one out of all of them just no it's a stupid helmet design.

We have the mecha for the show and, when did Lego start making Meazords? These Megazord designs are so blocky and lazy design you are basically playing with a. I mean this is on the same level a preschool toy is on, on 2nd thought I take that back because the Imaginext MMPR toys are a hell bunch more better in design then these DX toys from Bandai f Japan. Not going to go into detail on each individual zord because well it's to blurry and probably does not matter anyways since they all probably suck. but none of that could have ha surprise me for the most shocking thing of all

DX Jyuuou King!

WHERE TO BEGINNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!

MY JAW JUST DROPPED TO THE GROWN WHEN I SAW THIS AND I REALLY DID HOPE THIS WAS A PAROIDY BECAUSE THIS MEGAZORD IS JUST SO LAZY IN DESIGN AND JUST SO BRIGHT, SO OBNIXOUS, SO UNINSPIED THAT (and same could be said for the suits really) THAT as of right now I don't know right now which is the worst design out of all of Super Sentai currently this or ToQger, and I said ToQger was the worst Sentai I currently seen of course until I saw more of Ninninger. I'm willing to keep an open mind on thing I mean Gaim is the best example but with current Sentai as of late with their red's being self centric assholes and poor quality into shows I... I just want a good Sentai again because the best Post Gokaiger Sentai is Digimon Tri.

Digimon in Death Battle: Charizard V. Greymon

YES, YES, YES, WE ARE FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY GETTING A DEATH BATL BETWEEN BOTH Greymon and Charizard! I mean I have been waiting for a Death Battle with a Digimon for a very long time and for us to finally have one now just excites me so much and this is going to be an amazing battle for the ages. Ok enough of me fan boying over this (for) now, today the Death Battle between both Hawkeye and Green Arrow happen today (I was neutral on both sides really do not know much about either charter to have a strong option of 1 particular and could go either way on any of them) but after the battle they announce a fight between both Charizard and Greymon and my mind freakin exploded from the awesomeness what is going to be Charizard V. Greymon.

My predictions for this Greymon will be the winner with no doubt he could win. This is not just me saying the oblivious "DIGIMON IS SO MUCH BETTER THEN POKEMON" argument I'm saying he is more powerful because of fact. Greymon has size advantage and almost as tall as a big building while a Charizard fully grown adult is like 5'7" and he is a pretty small guy (heck I'm 6'2" I'm taller then Charizard). Yes Charizard has things like speed and also flying especially more with Charizard Y with is more faster and has a stronger defense, but as MetalGreymon he can fly shoot fire, have misses and has a hook hand. Finally is their powerhouse forms Charizard X and WarGreymon, Charizard X which is the most powerful form (more proven in the design with blue flame being the most powerful flame) and yet is more weaker than anything with defend is not that good as Y Ver. And then we get to WarGreymon who will wrecked him so hard, WarGreymon is one of the biggest powerhouse Digimon there is with him WarGreymon who has Chrom Digizoid for his armor and Chrome Digizoid is like a super rare metal that is hard to break, and he has taken on some of the most powerfulest Digimon like Venommyotismon and was the final blow that defeated him, defeated 2 of the Dark Masters like MetalSeadramon who pierced him from the inside out, or Machinedramon who sliced and diced him (I know he had some help too but still).

So that is how I strongly feel about this death Battle and I'm more then excited for this and I do strongly feel this Death Battle and excited for it this coming December 23rd. Also a little more update sorry but my finals happened and that got in my way, but come this Monday I will be posting my fresh thoughts on Digimon Tri, and then the week after that what I actually had planned for December my month of reviews pertaining around Kamen Rider Faiz.
