Overview
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers adapted form Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger was the first power rangers that came to the United States, and was a huge his. Fun face the original power rangers Choujin Sentai Jetman but because of the giant hit that Jurassic Park was and Zyurangers being a dinosaur sentai it would make sense that Power Rangers be the show that has the dinosaurs.
Story
Episode 1: Day of the Dumpster After 10,000 years being trapped in a dumpster when 2 astronauts release the evil witch Rita Repulsa know as Bandora from zyurangers and he gang Finster, Squat, Baboo, and my favorite Goldar are ready to take over the world. Meanwhile Zordon and his companion Alpha 5 now know the the evil witch Rita is reawaken the now must find 5 teenagers with attitude and they get Jason The Red Ranger, Billy the Blue Ranger, Zack the Black Ranger, Trina the Yellow Ranger, and Kimberly The Pink Ranger, and together they become the Power Rangers, using their Megazords, and power Weapons to fight the evil witch Rita.Episode 17: after fighting Rita for a number of fillers we then we see the Green Ranger Tommy and this starts the Green with Evil Saga a 5 part event that pushed the rangers to their limited and in the end the break the evil spell and Tommy is turn good and fight with the other rangers. Episode 34 but it the 2 parter the Green Candle Tommy touching the green (witch we never see) and it makes Tommy loses his powers unless the rangers stop it in time tho they didn't have any time and Tommy is is no longer is the Green Ranger but Jason Get the Green Ranger Shield and Dragon Dagger so he becomes armored might Red Ranger. Episode 39,40 Doomsday, the final episodes were gonna be the actual final episodes of the whole franchise but because ratings did so well they decided to continue the franchise, and proves even more evidence that in the final scene it was obvious you could tell they did change it. but if this was the ending it could have been a great way to end the Show.
Charters
Jason: he is one of my favorite red rangers and my favorite MMPR ranger. he is a very bold and heroic he is kinda bland at times but he has enough character that he is a good leader.
Billy: Billy is the Steroid typical nerd with the glasses and saying the big words and physical weak. but later he will be more stronger and fight on his own and even now wear his glasses to often.
Zack: Zack is a very fun guy, he is also a hip hopper and rapping guy. also it is also is worth noting Walter Jones is missing one of his fingers
Trina: their is a bit to talk about her behind the scenes, she is kinda bland and the girl, in the sentai Yellow was a boy, and it is worth saying the death of Thuy Trang a week before 911.
Kimberly: She is not as bland and and she is also a well rounded charted and i do like her over all and she is a fun loving person.
Tommy: i will explain why people like him so much and him being overrated, he is a lone wolf and summon his Zord that looks like Godzilla, he is kinda dumb and knocked out easily for a KO. he can do a kamehameha and has a dragon shield, he did it once with no explanation, he is a badass, but he doesn't have much development, you see why people are mix about this charter. he does start out a bit of a lone wolf but it has doesn't last long but if you like him then ok but i think he is overrated
Music
The music had a lot of rock and we did what sentai never did we had a theme for our 6th ranger whale dragon ranger did not. Recommend “I Will Win”.
The Good
The Green with Evil Saga: i already said i am not a Green Ranger fan but with all the filler it was a awesome 5 parter with awesome plot and development to the charters
The ZYU 2 footage: if you don't know the ZYU 2 footage was made for Power Rangers only and not made in the sentai footage.
Bulk and Skull: These 2 guys are funny as hell. I do like how here they are in the show and in space they are now brave worries
Countdown to Destruction: Again if this ended power rangers it would ended with a bang, it up the danger and more or less a great way end the show
The Bad
The many evil rangers episodes: 1 ok that is cool, 2 that is has been done but overkill, 3 that is stupid.
the green ranger ok i am not a Tommy fan i am one of those people who think he is overrated and how did Rita got the green power coin or use the green candle as quick as possible.
the Thunder Slingers: i really wish they had the thunder slingers because they were a unique design and it combine with the gun but they had Zyuranger on the gun. but they also did that with the motorcycles too
Final verdict
9/10
to be honest i still like MMPR even tho people have real legit problems and i do understand that but if you hate just because then whatever. for other recommends i recommend Zyuranger if you want to see the original source material, and since we're talking about 90’s and first of starting a frantic i give a anime recommend of Digimon season.
