Digimon Fusion Episode 22 "Lost in Digital Space" Review

Air Date: 3-23-14
Voice Cast
Nick Roye: Mikey
Colleen O'Shaughnessy: Angie, Monitamon, Pawnchessmon
Derek Stephen Prince: Jeremy
Ben Diskin: Shoutmon, Shoutmon X5, Cutemon
Kyle Hebert: Ballistamon, Dorulumon
Patrick Seitz: Starmon, Blastmon
Michael Sorich: Deputymon
Travis Willingham: Knightmon
Laura Bailey: Beastmon
Melissa Fahn: Nene
Michelle Ruff: Sparrowmon
Cindy Robinson: Laylamon
Kirk Thornton: Tactimon
Neil Kaplan: Lord Bagra
Mark Ryan: Arkadimon
Dan Woren: Wisemon

(I'm just saying this, the name for this episode sounds like that crappy movie the Nostalgia Critic review Lost in Space just saying) Remember 2 episode reviews ago that it was wasted potential that Mikey was seperated from the rest of the team, I mean that scene was only like 5 minutes long and the setup for it which I mean Mikey getting captured was great but ended up being wasted, this episode however dose it better. The episode begins with the aftermath of the last episode where after the battle with DarkKnightmon Nene faints and the Monitamons says they need to get Nene back to the warrior zone, when Mikey and the others are going into the Digital Space they are ambush by Arkadimon who serpent Mikey and the others (AGAIN) and he is stranded in the Digital Space. Until he is stopped by a booked and taken inside the book and we are introduce to Wisemon who the first time he sees Mikey he wants to decide him, but when Mikey give him some Digibits (an main food that Digimon eat in this season that I been neglecting to mention since episode 4) he dose not wana want to dissect him like an frog and then mention that we now know that their are 108 code crowns (weird number in my option why just not the simple 100) and Lord Bagra has a lot already like about 72, the Fusion Fighters have 7 and Blue Flare has 11. Wisemon says that the Digital world excised a long time ago before the human world and the Human world is starting to learn how to use the digital world (their a line about funny cat videos that made me laugh) which if you believe how Tamers did their story we created the Digimon is rather what do you like more. Mean while Angie and Jeremy are in Arkadimon nest while all the Digimon are trapped, Shoutmon try's to fight Arkadimon but if he leaves he will die, Beastmon have some new DigiCards and it is like 'WHAT YOU HAD THESE THE WHOLE TIME AND IT IS ONLY NOW YOU TELL US NOW". Even Angie is like WHAT, Even tho Jeremy try's to use it fails  since the Fusion Loader was meant for Mikey (their was a bit of dialog that pissed me off, Sparrowmon says Digimemory and not DigiCards, just the hell man). Mikey gets back and save his friends, Mikey form Shoutmon X5, they escape Arkadimon, and the Episode ends with Wisemon joining the Fusion Fighters and the team being in the Warrior Zone.
Overall I give "Lost in Digital Space" a 3.5/5 not perfect but enjoyable. I liked the information we got for this episode, it was an nice touch we saw a fight in the Digital Space (showing us like higher power Digimon like Megas can not be dissolved), and their was some Dialog that was funny. that thing that really pissed me off was Sparrowmon calling it Digimemorys instead of Digicards when they clearly establish it is Digicards in the Dub.
Next time on Digimon Fusion Episode 23 "Laughing All the Way to the Code Crown" where comedy issues.

Toy Review: Digimon Fusion DigiFuse Mailbirdramon

The final Figure in the first wave of the DigiFuse line is MailBirdramon, a robot version of the original Digimon from Digimon Adventure. Another well officially redisign for Digimon Fusion is this figure his name is spelled mail not in like Letters but Mail back in the older days like chin mail so it means like Armor which is pretty cool. Time to see how cools this guy is.
Design

Design wise it is basically Birdramon but turn into a robot. as I mention before this a redesign of Birdramon but with armorer but with the American Fusion toy line he has a blaster (use your imagination to pretended that the ball joint is an ball lazer) another design choice is that he is blue instead of red like the original Birdramon, his wings are now plain wings, and the 3 claws are sunspots to be tail feathers, he also has the MetalGreymon head on his back.
Articulation
For his Articulation on this figure is limited his neck and head are on ball joints, wings are on ball, Tail is also on ball joint, and the legs and feet are also on ball joints.
Accessories

Like all the other Digimon Fusion toys he also comes with his Digimon Fusion card with # DF-037.
Combination
MetalGreymon

And here we have MetalGreymon and I am speechless. Where do I began, well it dose it's another redesign of MetalGreymon form Adventure, it dose retain simulates with the original MetalGreymon like having wings, a metal claw on his left hand, a metal chest, and having a metal skull head (and from 1 review I heard the head looks like a truck), his left hand is just so long looking and it is just bazar looking, the Mailbirdramon feet are so outward (I personally would just put on the front) it is just more weird, and the most weirdest thing is he had the Greymon head on his back, and also the chest is bigger and makes this more just weird.

Articulation
The articulation for this figure is similar to Greymon with the mouth opening and closing head can move on ball joint, left arm can move all the way, right little outwore and the legs can move but lilted with the tail
all that is left over is the left hand of the Greymon figure
 Pictures from DigimonWiki
Alterations
Alterations it a lot for this, I give the toy this no color alterations on the toy (the closes you could get is the darker blue on the Xros Wars toy and the lighter blue on the Fusion toy). but it's molding is super different, the neck had hinges to look forward and backwards, mouth could open on the Xros Wars toy, and the legs had ratchet joints on it.

For the MetalGreymon toy the claws could move in and out, on the MetalGreymon head it just slide on but it did not fit on it and was shaky and was a mass release problem, while on the American toy it was a connecting port with a ball joint, and finally and the obvious one on the American toy it dose not have the MailBirdramon legs on it's back for cannons but on it's legs for the American toy.

Should you buy this?
You should because it's not all bad. If your a fan of MailBirdramon in either Fusion or Xros Wars then You Should buy it, if you like this version of Birdramon then you should buy it, if want to make MetalGreymon then you should buy it. Overall this is a nice toy and is insetting but fails with his body looking up, but that is a bit of how he was in the show. And as for MetalGreymon it's ok, some people like the US version some like the Japan version (some people like this more ther the japan version) but it is ok , main turn off is the giant left arm, the leg,s and back cannon not being show accurate.

Digimon Fusion Episode 21 "Disaster in the Dust Zone" Review

Airdate: 3-16-14
Xros Wars Episode Title: "Decisive Battle! DarkKnightmon VS Xros Heart!"
Voice cast
Nick Roye: Mikey
Colleen O'Shaughnessy: Angie, Monitamon
Derek Stephen Prince: Jeremy
Ben Diskin: Shoutmon, Shoutmon X4, Shoutmon X5
Kyle Hebert: Ballistamon, Dorulumon
Patrick Seitz: Starmon
Vic Mignogna: Christopher
Kirk Thornton: DarkKnightmon, Tactimon
Michael Sorich: Deckerdramon, SkullGreymon, Damemon
Todd Haberkorn: Puppetmon
Neil Kaplan: Metalgreymon, Lord Barge, Cyberdramon, Skullsatamon
Melissa Fahn: Nene
Michelle Ruff: Sparrowmon
Cindy Robinson: Laylamon

The episode begins with the Fusion Fighters running away from DarkKnightmon and his team mates, they barely survive by going through an garbage shoot. Sparrowmon  appears and ask for Mikey to help since Nene was capture by DarkKnightmon and say that DarkKnightmon is creating the Darkness Loader and explains on why he was collecting the purple mist from a few episodes early. Sounds kinda stupide even tho it is the same name that was use in Xros Wars, I think it being called the Shadow Loader sounds a bit better to me. In the morning Christopher and the rest of team Blue Flare is their and surprise  Mikey and the others. I am surprise that none of his Digimon stop him, epically Deckerdramon since. 2 episodes prier say he was good of heart and this is not, Mikey shapes Christopher out of DarkKnightmon's control by what else hitting him, which is how a lot of Digimon seasons do it like Adventure was with Tie and Matt. A fight happens with Team Fusion Fighters, Team Blue Flare, sorta Team Midnight, and the Bagra Army (also in this scene we get Mikey using stock footage with him using his circle fiction on his Fusion Loader). After Mikey saves Nene (with a bit of stupide dialog) Mikey gets the MetalGarurumon DigiCard, Christopher uses his new weapon the MetalGreymon Cyberdramon (which is just MetalGreymon with a Lazard cannon), DarkKnightmon DigiFuse with SkullGreymon and Skullsatamon ( I think it would be called DarkKnightmon+ SkullGreymon and Skullsatamon) and he just attacks and then leaves. And the episode ends with Lord Bagra appearing and we get to see what he looks like with half of him looking human and the right half of him being half skull monster, and is it me or dose Neil Kaplan makes it sounds like he I'd doing a Texan or southern voice?).
Overall I give "Disaster in the Dust Zone" an 2/5 it was just a bit of an EEEHHHH..... episode.
the nick picks I do have with the episode is why is SkullGreymon Heart and Rocket change from Red/ Orange to green? It was not like that when they were reairing Digimon Adventure a few months prier it was the correct colors, again their was some stupide dialog with Mikey and Nene that you have to see. For real cons the whole siltation with Darkdramon is still their, where the hell did Puppetmon get the Garurumon DigiCard. But to be honest the Fight between all the army's was pretty cool, The part with Christopher and Mikey was a good scene, and Loard Bagra descending was an awesome scene, and If anyone could I would really like a picture of Loard Bagra descending with his chair.
Next Time Digimon Fusion Episode 22 "Lost in Digital Space" Mikey get seperated from his team mates (Again), we have more expiation on he Code Crown, and we get some new DigiCards.

Toy Review: Digimon Fusion Greymon Figure

The next figure to be review by me is the Digimon Fusion Graymon and yes people another Graymon is in Digimon season again. Now before we begin this review I would like to say that I am a HUGE GREYMON FAN and I love just about every Graymon, so time to open him up and see if this Graymon is worth the buck.
  Design

The Fusion Greymon or Xros Wars Greymon is different from the original Greymon because 1 he is more T-Rex and that is what he is based on is posing, a bit of his head is similar to GeoGreymon (with spikes on it's lower jaw and upper head) the insetting thing about this Greymon coloring is that it has the Vireos colors Greymon. He has molded in head phones on his upper head, also have a blade front horn and finally has an blast Tail.
Articulation
Articulation for him is a bit hindered, Arms can move 360 and go in and out to an extent, legs can move again to an extent, head can move side to side with the mouth opening, and the tail can move some what.
Accessories

He comes with his DF-0029 card
Alterations
Picture from DigimonWiki
Alterations were huge for this figure since this was in a new mold. The Xros Wars Greymon toy was one of the most articulate figure out of all of the other Greymon toys, it had 2 joints on the tail, the legs had ratchet joints (and can move in and out to an citron extended)  and also had ratchet joints on the feet. The arms could also move in and out and 360, and had different molded hands then the US toy could, the neck could move and so could the head, and the mouth could open more then the US one did and had pegs on the back while the US one had the back spikes. The head was an brown but on the us one it was silver making it more show correct (Same is said for the head spike) and on the US toy it's an different shade of color then the Xros Wars toy making it look like an shade of purple or gray then being blue, and the toe nails were also painted gray while on the Xros Wars it was blue (If you looked at the prototype of this toy it looked liked the horns could popes odd and the body looked had the correct colors). Finally on the Xros Wars toy it came with the Leviamon Digimemory and the US toy came with it's card.

Should you buy this
I personally yes. If you are a huge fan of Greymon (and like any version of any Greymon) then you have to buy it, If you are looking for a pretty pose able Fusion Figure then you should buy it. The 2 cons ageist it is that it is bad shading and 2 still lack of posing. But still if you are a Die hard core Greymon fan then you buying regardless since I do think Greymon is the mascot of Digimon.

Digimon Fusion Episode 20 "Train of Terror" Review

Airdate: 3-9-14
Xros Wars Episode Title: " Dust Zone, Grand Locomon's Big Scrap City!"
Voice cast
Nick Roye: Mikey
Colleen O'Shaughnessy: Angie, Monitamon
Derek Stephen Prince: Jeremy
Ben Diskin: Shoutmon, Shoutmon X4, Cutemon
Kyle Hebert: Ballistamon, Dorulumon
Patrick Seitz: Starmon
Vic Mignogna: Christopher
Kirk Thornton: DarkKnightmon
Michael Sorich: Granlocomon
Todd Haberkorn: Puppetmon, metalmamemon

In the original Digimon Adventure near the end we were given the Dark Masters for our final villains one of the more complex ones charters was Puppetmon. when you look bat at the episode where he took TK and only wanted to play with him it's a sad thing when you see him making  a friend out of toys. The episode begins with Mikey and we see DarkKnightmon and Mikey lost his Fusion Loader. DarkKnightmon says that Nene is in the dark orb but it dose not affect Mikey in the slightest since he is pure of heart. Mikey is thrown out of the giant piller and lands in on Dorulumon (with a funny joke) and he loses his fusion loader again to a Garbagemon and escapes on Trailmonkettle (which from the looks of it looks he is part Ressha) when they could not catch up to the Garbagemon they then meet up with Puppetmon and he says that everyone gives all the metal to Granlocomon so that they can have a chance go to the other zone (sounds like this guy would be prefect as one of the shadow liner). When the Garbagemon promises to give back the Fusion Loader Puppetmon steels it and gives it to Grandlocomon but betrays him and almost kills him. Then Grandlocomon travel to the other zone in a sequence that looks like back to the future part 3 and Mikey summons Shoutmon X4 and finish off Grandlocomon, and the episode ends with Christopher and Dark Knightmon being partners.
Overall I give "Train of Terror" (or some people may call it ToQGer of Terror) a 3/5 a nice episode but it felt rush. I like Puppetmon charter in this episode, their was a bunch of some funny jocks, the fight between Shoutmon X4 and Grandlocomon was cool, basically it was Shoutmon X4 being a badass. But this Episode was rushed like the team could spend searching Mikey, and they could spent more time with Puppetmon and him having the Fusion Loader.
Next Time on Digimon Fusion Episode 21 "Disaster in the Dust Zone!" which has a giant battle, we have SkullGreymon original voice actor coming back to voice him again, and we get to see MetalGreymon + Cyber Launcher combo.

Toy Review: Digimon Fusion Dorulumon Figure + Shoutmon X4 Figure

The 3rd main Digimon from the Fusion Fighters is now up for the review and here he is Dorulumon. Now for me I think it might be an homage to Garurumon from Digimon Adventure. It sounds and spell very similar Garurumon, Dorulumon, enough of that it is now time to see is he worth the money?

Details

Yah as you can see Dorulumon dose look a bit odd and weird. it has some cool white and orange decals and the orange on him look like a bit of a fire effect. his head makes him look like he has head phones. Cool thing it has a multi segment tail and nice gold drill tip. For articulation, forget about it, you can have a pose but it would it fall down, head can barely move, but the tail can do it.
Accessories
He just comes with his Dorulumon card with DF-016
Combination

Shoutmon X3
And combining the Shoutmon, Ballistamon, and Dorulumon figures you can make Shoutmon X3. Now Shoutmon X3 look similar to 2 things, 1 it looks like Omnimon with having a orange side and a blue side and the head. and also looks like an Gundam  with a enormous amount of white and looks what a Gundam look with feet and shoulder pads and head with head guns that almost all gundams have.
Articulation

You get a lot of movement for this guy. shoulder and arms are on ball joints waste and tail can move on ball joints too, and legs can move to but the leg can't move outwore.

Shoutmon X4

With the Star Sword you can make him Shoutmon X4 and you can even do his boomerang attack, just take his V on his chest and put it on his hand.
Pictures from Digiwiki
Alterations

Articulation between this and the Japan Xros Wars Versions were staggering. the Xros Wars had some more paint on the side of his face and the Japan Version main had a shorter Maine, the spikes on the back and on the American one it dose not have it on. It had many ratcheted joints on the legs and the tail could only go up and down and more little but on the American one can move a lot and bigger. 1 major point on the Xros Wars could do was the Drill cannons but on the American ones you can't but toy could if you really did. And finally he came with the Garurumon Digi Memory.
And as for the Shoutmon X3/X4 you could see the Shoutmon head the arms could only move. The head was more like putting a hat on and it looks weird, but the American toy is an complete head and is more better.
Should you buy this?
You should buy this if you want Shoutmon X3/4 but on it's own may be. I am not going to denied that it's better with better articulation in both the it's Dorulumon and Shoutmon X4 mode but what is really hindering it is the lack of body and missing paint aps. I do want you to know that be genital when making Shoutmon X3/4 because on my Ballistamon shoulders it has stress marks and one of my Dorulumon tail pieces have did brake already so please be note of that.
